ACADEMY is a ready-to-launch website and management system for training academies, language schools and corporate-training companies. One installation gives you a public website that sells your courses, online enrolment with payment tracking, a learner portal, an instructor portal and a full admin panel. Install it from your browser in minutes with the built-in web installer. No command line is needed. Choose Starter for a clean site or Demo for a fully populated example. Support
Every licence includes free support by e-mail, in English or Arabic. Single site and Agency licences include 3 months from the date of purchase. The Extended licence includes 6 months and one installation.
Updates are separate from support and never expire. Even without a support plan you receive every new version of ACADEMY that you bought. Bug fixes for faults we introduced in an update and security fixes are provided to every licence holder, whether or not your free period has ended.
After the free period, support requires a support plan. Plans run for twelve months from purchase and do not renew automatically. Please see the support policy on coddesk.com for the plans, prices, number of requests and first response times.
One request is one issue, followed through to resolution, not one e-mail. Replying with more detail never counts as a new request. The response time is the time to a first human response, not to a resolution. Business days are Monday to Saturday.
Support covers faults in unmodified product code, questions about documented features and settings, help understanding the User Guide PDF, problems introduced by our own updates, and licence key issues such as activation, releasing a domain and moving to a new server.
Support does not cover code you have changed, hosting, server and PHP configuration, domains, DNS, SSL and e-mail delivery, backups, integration with other software or plugins, new features and customisation, content entry, migration between hosts, or training. These can be quoted separately. Please ask and we will price them.
When you write, quote your order number and the version of ACADEMY, describe what you were doing, include the exact message you saw and, if possible, the last lines of storage/logs/laravel.log. The User Guide PDF in your download covers the most common problems in Part 10.
An installation service is available for 149 US dollars per installation (one server, one domain). It covers uploading the files, creating and configuring the database, activating the licence and confirming that the site loads.

What do I need to run ACADEMY?
A web host with PHP 8.3 or newer and a MySQL or MariaDB database. The package already contains all required libraries, so you do not need Composer or the command line. A cron job (one line, added in your hosting control panel) runs the automatic tasks.
How do I install it?
Upload and extract the package, create an empty database, open your website address followed by /install in a browser and follow the four steps: server check, database, site and admin account, and finish. The User Guide PDF explains each step with screenshots.
Which payment methods are supported?
Bank transfer with staff verification is built in, including invoices, receipts, refunds and discount codes. Online card payment gateways are not included in this version.
Which languages are included?
English and French are included. You can translate every text from Admin, Website, Translations, and add more languages such as Spanish or Arabic. Right-to-left languages switch the layout automatically.
Can I use my own logo, colours and photos?
Yes. Branding, navigation, pages and photos are editable from the admin panel. The photos in the package are samples, so replace them with your own before going live.
Can I install it in a sub-folder or on a sub-domain?
Yes. ACADEMY works on a domain, a sub-domain or a sub-folder, as long as the web root points to the public folder.
Does it include a live demo with sample data?
Yes. The product page links to a live demo where you can sign in as an administrator, manager, coordinator, finance user, editor, instructor or learner. Changes you make are private to your session.
How do I update to a new version?
Back up your database and uploads, upload the new files while keeping your .env file and the storage folder, then follow the upgrade section of the User Guide.
Is my data safe?
ACADEMY has nightly backups, two-factor sign-in, role-based permissions, an audit log and a protected installer. You stay responsible for your server, HTTPS and keeping off-site copies of your backups.
Can I run more than one branch or location?
Yes. Add branches and rooms under Admin, Scheduling. ACADEMY warns you when a room or an instructor is booked twice at the same time.
