About this product

Payment Planner adds a monthly-payment calculator to every vehicle page of your Vehicle Dealership website. Visitors move the deposit and the term, add a trade-in if they have one, and see the monthly payment, the amount financed, the total payable and the cost of finance, with three terms side by side so they can compare.

When a visitor is ready, one button sends you their figures. Each enquiry is recalculated on the server, so what you read is always correct, and it lands in a Payment enquiries inbox with statuses, an assignee and an internal note. A new enquiry can also be e-mailed to your team.

A Shop by payment page turns the question around: the visitor sets what they can pay each month and sees which vehicles fit. Everything is set from one settings screen: the interest rate, the terms offered, the default deposit, any fees, and whether trade-in and a final balloon payment are allowed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Vehicle Dealership to use it?

Yes. Payment Planner is a module for the Vehicle Dealership website and installs from its admin panel. It is sold separately from the website.

Does it need its own licence key?

Yes. You receive a licence key with your purchase and paste it in when you upload the module. It is activated from your admin panel and follows the same domain rules as your other licences.

Is the monthly figure a real quote?

No. It is an estimate based on the rate you publish, and the page says so to your visitors. The final rate, term and payment are set by the lender.

Can I set my own rate, terms and fees?

Yes. The rate, the calculation method, the terms offered, the default deposit, any fees and the trade-in and balloon options are all set from the Payment Planner settings, with no code changes.

How do I find out about a new enquiry?

A counter appears next to Payment enquiries in the admin sidebar, and you can have each new enquiry e-mailed to a team address you choose.

Will it work if I add a language later?

Yes. All of its text is held in language files, with English and Arabic included, so it follows the languages your website offers.
